 ■ Introduction of CES 2023 and Japan (J-Startup) Pavilion

CES, which has been held since 1967, used to be primarily an exhibition of consumer electronics products, but is now one of the world's largest technology events, held annually in January in Las Vegas, USA. CES 2020, held before Corona, attracted approximately 180,000 visitors from about 160 countries, and more than 20,000 new products and services were introduced by some 4,600 exhibiting companies. This year's CES 2023 is expected to attract a large number of visitors, encouraged by the easing of overseas travel, with after-Corona also in sight. One of the official themes is likely to be the use of technology to solve social issues such as human and food security and conflict, and to confront the challenges we face around the world. In addition, attention will continue to focus on new fields such as sustainability, digital health, metaverse, and mobility. JETRO will set up a Japan (J-Startup) Pavilion in the Startup Area (Eureka Park) to provide overseas expansion and PR support for Japanese startup companies.

 ■About LIFEHUB
https://www.lifehub.co.jp/
Our mission is to create a world where all people can freely and abundantly live their lives through the creation of mechanical bodies using robotics and other cutting-edge technologies.
As the first step, we are aiming to release a next-generation personal mobility vehicle equipped with a two-wheeled standing structure. This personal mobility vehicle realizes actions such as "walking, standing up, and climbing over" by reproducing a structure that imitates human legs in the chair-shaped passenger seat.
