LIFEHUB Inc. raises 160 million yen in funding.

LIFEHUB Inc. (Location: Taito-ku, Tokyo,CEO: Hiroshi Nakano, hereafter "the Company") raised 160 million yen on August 23, 2022 through a third-party allocation of new shares to its existing shareholder, Incubate Fund Corporation, with Nanobank Corporation as a new shareholder.
■About the first product, a next-generation chair-type mobility product
Our management philosophy and mission is to "free mankind from physical limitations" to create a world where all people do not hesitate to lead free and enriched lives through the use of robotics and other cutting-edge technologies.
As the first product, we aim to release the next-generation electric wheelchair "TRANSELLA," which implements a two-wheeled upright structure.It enables users to "walk, stand up, and climb over" while in a wheelchair.

■Features of TRANSELLA
＜function of standing up＞
TRANSELLA can stand up to 50 cm on two legs while the user remains in the wheelchair.This standing function allows the user to speak at the same eye level as a person standing and to easily pick up objects that are high up.
＜flexibility＞
TRANSELLA can be used in tight spaces at home, at school, at work, or in stores on the go, thanks to its 40 cm radius and small footprint.We also aim to achieve mobility performance that allows the user to freely change direction 360 degrees on the spot. We also plan to support directional changes in a standing position.
＜Escalator boarding/exiting function＞
The two-legged structure can be used to get on and off the escalator.
If escalators can be used while wheelchair-bound, wheelchair users will no longer have to search for elevators when they are out and about, and will be able to travel along the same route as others.In large facilities such as shopping centers and train stations, people are constantly having to search for and navigate elevators, and we believe that the escalator boarding/exiting function will greatly improve the convenience of travel.
